2008-05 Memorial Weekend in Boston
The Chinatown bus leaves NYC every hour and takes around 4 hours to get to Boston’s bus terminals. I assumed that we would wonder around lost for a while in the Boston metro, but Jennifer had her bearings from the beginning. I’ve only been to Boston with Mom and Dad or with SO recently and I never worried about transportation. The only other time in Boston was with a few classmates from high school, and that memory is best suppressed.
Boston’s metro is straight forward (kinda reminds me of Paris) and we got to our B&B at Cambridge before heading out to the city again. Jennifer and I first stopped at Quincy Market and watched street performers, then walked a bit of the Freedom Trail. Off of the Freedom Trail there is a block of Italian restaurants, all of them jammed packed with people. We were finally hustled into Villa Francesca and had our very pricey dinner.
