I know I’m probably… oh, 7 to 8 years behind the times, but this high speed thing is amazing!
SO called and had cable hooked up today. Wow… finally I can upload pictures and listen to web radio. This is great

Rash getting better… although I keep thinking that NOBODY wants to hear its progress.
Due to recent diet and medication, it’s really difficult for me to stay awake. I almost fell asleep walking towards the library today. But I had a great helping of dinner this evening, and that shall cure all! (Unless I stay up too late).
I can just count the number of stitches till I’m done with last year’s Christmas plate. Then I’ll be able to frame it and start with 2007’s. Hal the power of procrastination.

SO took a picture of the wild turkey in our back yard earlier this week.

Found that out the hard way.
I had two bug bites on my left arm on Tuesday and I rubbed some Tiger Balm on them. I’ve used the Tiger Balm before and it’s way better than Cortizone, so I didn’t think much of it when the bite nearest to my elbow started swelling up. I had to put some Tiger Balm on my right arm, just for comparison, before I admit that I’m having an allergic reaction.
By the time I went to see a doctor today, the rash was about palm size, red and burning and itchy and scaly. Very attractive indeed.
I got a shot and two prescriptions. SO is keeping his distance because I’m grumpy and sleepy under the medication.
Hopefully it’ll go away next week.

The midnight show at BCC has been playing this old song lately.
Taiwanese radio stations are weird. The DJs would play a song and talk through it, or play only seconds of a song. The commercials are also a little different. The usual ones during the midnight till 3AM period are for the 24hrs convenience stores, mixed in with the “please don’t suicide” commercials. BCC also puts in commercials for songs, and this was one of them.
The song is about a girl tormenting a boy while he’s trying to propose to her. I’m starting to like it…

Added a couple of travel pages for 2006.
Still haven’t figure out how to get them to list in order though…

Apparently I can only sleep well during late mornings/early afternoons… which exclude such normal sleeping hours as 4AM… Painful…
I got back to EA yesterday. SO was gardening when my car pulled up, so I proceeded to weeding as well. Got the two herb beds and the strawberry field done, pretty good. SO also put a boarder around the central rose bushes, now the whole garden looks a bit more formal.
Aside from sleeping hours, I’m also trying to adjust back to my enormous computer screen. Now that I’ve stared at Mom’s lap top and Dad’s computer, my monitor back home seems alarmingly big.
