Feeling a lot better now.
I remember the first day of the outage, I was really in hell. It’s not that I had a tough job or anything, I just didn’t want to imagine going through another month of the same thing.
Truthfully, maintenance work is mind blogging. I don’t mean any disrespect to maintenance people, it takes lots of skills and knowledge to be able to fix just about everything in the plant, but it’s not for me. The endless sitting around, the battling between departments, the rush rush rush then stop before jobs even begin. Anyway, it’s just for a month (hopefully).
Warren sat me down yesterday and asked me what I’m doing there. I feel like laughing, Jay’s done a really good job putting me there. Seriously, now I can at least re-charge a little bit and even get some overtime money before going back to my group.
