Family vacations are impossible! There is still 4 months before the vacation and they are already driving me crazy.
Jennifer and I have gotten this travel arrangement down to an art. Fly from different cities, fly from the same city, meet somewhere half way and fly the last leg together… whichever way, we can at least find ourselves at the same airport around the same time. But with Mom, Dad, and Jason involved, things seem a million times more complicated.
I drew up the itinerary almost a month ago, telling everyone SPECIFICALLY which flight to book. Everyone told me that they got it… and now, aside from my flight, Jennifer’s flight, Jason’s flight back to my place, nothing is booked. Let’s see, there’s still Dad’s flight from Taipei to San Francisco, the three of them from San Francisco to Jackson Hole, then Mom and Dad back to San Francisco from Jackson Hole, and finally Dad going back to Taipei from San Francisco. Urg!!!!! I can bang my head against the wall.
