Turkish Towels
December 29th, 2007
Andy, SO, and I went to Chicago to get my towels today. I’ve been eying these Turkish towels at Restoration Hardware for the longest time. Thanks to Jennifer, I got two sets (blue and gray… but looks a lot like brown…)
I’m going cash only starting Jan. 1st. It feels a bit weird, hopefully it’ll work out.

Tomorrow I continue my track across Middle Earth (America). I hope that I will make the Saint of Louis before nightfall on the morrow. Then we will camp on the banks of the Mississippi River. No cell phone, computer, or other digital device is available in this chasm of civilization. I will chase the great White Stag (I think SO will understand that reference). BTW, towels? seriously towels? Oh well, I actually got a welding helmet for Christmas and a slag hammer. I respect anyone who knows what a slag hammer is. When we came here on the last leg of the trip we made it from Iowa City, Iowa to Nevada MO without stopping. Whatever, I’m messed up.
Again, towels, seriously, towels? WTF?

You have to feel them, they’re great! I’ve wanted those towels for almost 2 years now (but they’ve always been too expensive…)
Did you have a good Christmas? Sounds like you’ll be looking forward to coming home?
Yeah, SO wants to borrow some of your Christmas presents. He guilt me into buying him a tile book and he thinks he needs that saw of yours.

If you’re going to the beach, don’t forget to bring a towel.
